I bought a pair of these artist series 15 in hi hats. Liked them so much I bought a 18 crash. The price for both $450.
They have some weird tool marks but sound great.
I've got paiste gaint beat, istanbul agop, zildjian and Sabian cymbals. The Aisen are credible and have been on the kit for a month. I like them alot.]]> 7 Test your perception of cymbal size. When I tilt the hats away from me, my sticks don't hit the bottom cymbal (which saves a lot of sticks) and it sounds slightly darker than when I tilt the hats towards me. When their tilted toward me, my stick also hits the bottom cymbal and the sound is a bit brighter ('cuz it's a heavier cymbal).

What is your preference?

There are some AI artifacts. For the skeptical, the little drum oopsy at 3:15 is there. This is also the track they looped, I believe during the bridge, for Stayin' Alive and a bunch of other songs(!)
