But i have a problem with the left pedal board slipping on top of the drumcarpet on which its placed on while me playing the pedal.
I tried to fix this by placing the stand of a cymbal directly behind it, to prevent it from moving but this doesnt work that well.

I am thinking of fixing this problem by mounting carpet tape on the carpet and underneath the pedal board, but honestly i have no idea wether this will work...
I am using a 3000 series now and I looked at the price of a 5000 and it's.....$599 new? Crazy! Wasn't a 9000 series double going for about...

Hello all! Around 6 months ago I got a pair of Iron Cobra 900 powerglides, and within the last month or so they have started to feel like they’re losing responsiveness regardless of spring tension/other settings. I just replaced the springs with the heavier gauge ones that Tama sells and it has improved them somewhat, but the problem remains. Recently I got replacement “Bones Reds” bearings to replace my old ones, but cannot figure out how to replace them as information on the internet seems...

so I won't bore anyone with the details as to why I'm asking this question (trust me, it's a long complicated story), but if you bought a brand new double pedal that sat in the box unopened (other than initially to make sure that all parts were intact in the box/carrying case) for say a year or possibly even 18 months, do you think that other than oiling the chains (chain drive pedal/s) that there would be any issues that needed addressing once you opened it and started using it?
